As Miami continues to add to its 2025 recruiting class , the Hurricanes are scouting and offering 2026 recruits from across the country.

One recent offer is also from nearby. Hailing from Frostproof (Fla.) High School, Albert Plain now has a post up on X that he holds an offer from Miami head coach Mario Cristobal .

The shifty do-it-all offensive and defensive player could end up playing any one of cornerback, safety, nickel, or receiver in college. It’s the dealer’s choice as Plain has natural football instincts and finds himself in situations where he picks up fumbles and scores, positions himself for interceptions no matter what defensive back spot he’s playing on a given play, and makes defenders miss as he runs to the end zone as a receiver.

Plain is also recognized for his spring game performance, as shown in the X post below.

To put it mildly, Plain’s 2023 HUDL film is impressive and he's obviously turning heads as he enters the 2024 season. Depending on how big he gets, and he’s roughly 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds now, that could also dictate the position Plain takes on at the college level. Keep in mind, Plain is likely to be a kick and punt return candidate at the FBS level, too.

His offers are just beginning with USF and Western Michigan offering prior to Miami. It’s going to be interesting to see what other schools offer the Frostproof recruit as Plain's junior season gets underway against Tampa (Fla.) Cambridge Christian on Aug. 16.
