Rapper William Jonathan Drayton Jr — aka Flavor Flav — was a huge supporter of Team USA throughout the 2024 Paris Olympics. His support of the United States' water polo program provided one of the most heartwarming stories of this year's games.
Now, he's extending that support to women's gymnastics.
Flavor Flav took to social media with a special offer for Jordan Chiles following the controversial removal of her bronze medal in the Floor Exercise.
"Ayyy YOOOO @ChilesJordan ,,, imma make you a BRONZE CLOCK NECKLACE,,, and that’s something NO ONE else has,!!! Hit me up my girl,,, I gotchu,!!!" he wrote on X.
"USA gonna Fight the Powers that be,,, in the meantime between time,,, Imma always a man of my word @ChilesJordan," he continued in a follow-up message, showing off the specially-made bronze necklace.
Chiles, 23, has removed herself from social media to protect her mental health in the aftermath of this controversial decision.
Chiles' mother, Gina, replied to Flavor Flav on her daughter's behalf.
"Thank you. Means the world. She's not on socials right now as you can imagine. I'll share it with her.," Gina Chiles replied.
Chiles was stripped of her bronze medal after the CAS ruled that the United States' score inquiry was issued outside of the allowed one-minute window. With the 0.1 score bump now void, Chiles fell off the podium into 5th place.
USA Gymnastics is appealing the decision. The organization has submitted new video that shows USA Cecile Landi make the inquiry within the allowed timeframe.
Jordan Chiles of the United States competes on the floor exercise on day three of the gymnastics event finals during the Paris 2024 Olympic Summer Games.
"The time-stamped, video evidence submitted by USA Gymnastics Sunday evening shows Landi first stated her request to file an inquiry at the inquiry table 47 seconds after the score is posted, followed by a second statement 55 seconds after the score was originally posted," USA Gymnastics wrote in a statement.
"The video footage provided was not available to USA Gymnastics prior to the tribunal’s decision and thus USAG did not have the opportunity to previously submit it."
