Same Old Jets! Bills AFC East Rival Going Through Embarrassing Holdout

If the Buffalo Bills thought that the New York Jets were about to finally get their act together and become a well-run organization, the latest off-field storyline may show otherwise.

Just four months after the Jets traded for Haason Reddick, the All-Pro pass rusher has requested another trade as he looks for a team to give him the kind of long-term investment he has been looking for over the last few years.

The problem isn't necessarily that Reddick is holding out or requested a trade - these things happen to every NFL team.

No, the problem is that this situation was completely avoidable for New York if they just understood how to properly plan for the future.

Reddick was always unhappy with his current deal. It's been that way for three years now. Yet, despite the reality of the situation, the Jets still traded for the edge rusher despite not coming to terms on an extension. They created the kind of environment that would allow any player to hold out in that situation.

Now this problem the Jets are having is more likely than not going to be solved. There's no incentive for Reddick to miss out on regular season games.

The reality is thought that the more this situation is drawn out, the more ridiculous the Jets look in their run to an AFC East crown.

And all the Bills have to do is just sit back and watch the hilarity ensue.
