ESPN writer Bill Connelly has posted the final SP+ preseason rankings for college football , which use a computer model to spit out a metrics-based ranking of every FBS team.

You can view the full top 25 right here , which feature a certain Big Ten newcomer all alone atop the ratings when it comes to offense. In Connelly's final preseason installment of the SP+ rankings, it was the Oregon Ducks who came out with the No. 1 offense.

The Ducks offensive SP+ rating is 47.1, just ahead of LSU at 46.3. Of course, the Tigers undoubtedly had the best offense a year ago, but with Bo Nix leading the charge, Oregon wasn't too far back.

Nix did depart following '23 and he's now starting games for the Denver Broncos. However, the Ducks filled the gap well, landing former Oklahoma starting QB and rising sixth-year veteran Dillon Gabriel. Plus, Oregon returns star receiver Tez Johnson, several other top pass catchers, and brings in an exciting WR transfer in Texas A&M's Evan Stewart.

Oregon has been a machine under Dan Lanning on the offensive side of the football, and the SP+ is anticipating another huge year as the Ducks enter the Big Ten in 2024.

Below, you can check out the full SP+ top 25 as well as the top 25 offenses in the rankings, starting with the Oregon Ducks.
