When looking at the Raiders roster from top to bottom, it's extremely top heavy with a lot of unproven players as the list goes on.

The quarterback position remains a question mark although head coach Antonio Pierce said he plans to make a decision after the second preseason game coming up this weekend.

Alex Ballentine with Bleacher Report looked up and down the AFC and ranked each teams needs and weaknesses, here's what he had to say for the Raiders.

    1. Quarterback
    2. Offensive Tackle
    3. Cornerback
    4. Wide Receiver
    5. Running Back

Ballentine believes strongly that the Raiders need to address the health issues on the offensive line given Kolton Miller has practically missed the whole offseason, and rookie Jackson Powers-Johnson is also hurt. He believes they should go out and sign Riley Reiff.

"He's not an ideal starter at this point in his career, but he's a serviceable backup to go with Andrus Peat."

However, if Kolton Miller is healthy enough to go when the season starts this is a pointless signing, this would all be dependent on his health come the start of the season.

The Raiders do however need to address their depth at wide receiver, once you get past Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers there's a big drop off. While Aidan O'Connell and Gardner Minshew played well in the first preseason game, every quarterback can use all the help they can get.

Call me crazy, the Raiders could use the services of a guy like Hunter Renfrow right now. They let him walk in free agency and he's still sitting there waiting to be signed, while it may go against the norms of NFL business procedures, all anyone cares about is winning so who cares about norms.

Renfrow is a security blanket and would benefit both play styles of O'Connell and Minshew. Not to mention the fact that he's sat on the market for so long the Raiders may be able to get him back cheaper than expected. This all assuming that the bridge isn't too badly burned between the two.
