After his time in Dallas, he played for the Green Bay Packers in 2020 and the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. A West Virginia alum, Austin is best known for his electric style showcased best in his college days .

Austin played 21 games with Dallas, finishing his tenure with 21 receptions for 317 yards and three touchdowns. On special teams, he mustered 27 returns for 142 yards. He also contributed in the running game with 12 carries for 102 yards and a touchdown in that span.

Austin played in two playoff games with the Cowboys, but his brightest memories came during the season. Though he was past his best years, Austin provided occasional jolts to the Dallas offense early in the Dak Prescott era.

He reeled a touchdown of 64 yards against the Giants in Week 2 of the 2018 season and a 59-yard snag in Week 15 of the 2019 season, both remaining two of the longest plays from scrimmage in his career.
