Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is currently being celebrated by fans all over the world after his incredible achievement in the Paris Olympics. This is after the four-time NBA champion led Team USA to what was a record 17th gold medal in the Summer Games basketball tournament.

Behind averages of 14.2 points, 8.5 assists, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in six games played, LeBron was awarded the tournament MVP title following Team USA's 98-87 victory in the gold medal game.

One man who has refused to jump on the LeBron hype train is renowned broadcaster Skip Bayless. In fact, the well-known James naysayer has even come out to say that the Lakers talisman "stole" the MVP title, presumably from Stephen Curry, who himself had an awe-inspiring tournament.

Bayless took to Instagram on Tuesday to take another jab at LeBron after randomly coming across a couple of Michael Jordan jerseys at a mall.

"Walking through a mall in Palm Desert, CA … and these are an out-front window display," Bayless wrote. "Wait, LeBron just stole - sorry, won - Olympic MVP and this store is still pushing Jordan jerseys??? He left Chicago in 1998!!! Sorry, LeBron. You’re still chasing."

If you are familiar with Bayless' antics, then you would know that this is on-brand for the 72-year-old media personality. More than a few fans have grown tired of Skip's incessant hating on LeBron, though, and they've made their feelings about it abundantly clear.

"this is a once in a generation hater. everybody stand back and admire," replied a fan.

"Walking through a mall in Palm desert and Skip is still thinking about Lebron 😭 this is elite level hate," pointed out a supporter.

"Just stop old man it’s just getting sad," read a comment.

"Hey Skip, Just stop man. Its not funny anymore😢," said another.

"Awesome take… what time will you be on air tomorrow to discuss?" asked a fan.

In case you missed it, that last comment has a sarcastic connotation to it. For context, Bayless recently left his role as the host of FS1's "Undisputed" show, which is a program that he has anchored for the past eight years.

Bayless is no longer on air after he made his last appearance on the show earlier this month, thus making the above comment a savage clapback at Skip.

For his part, LeBron has pretty much denied Bayless' existence throughout his career, and this latest post likely won't change anything about their relationship -- or rather, the lack thereof.
