LeBron James Acknowledges Tyrese Haliburton

Tyrese Haliburton spent his summer training for the Paris Olympics. Unfortunately, the Indiana Pacers All-Star seldom played. Suiting up for three games, Haliburton logged 8.8 minutes per contest. However, he won gold regardless of the minutes produced on the court. In celebration, his mother sent Team USA's reserve guard childhood pictures. Not long after Haliburton posted the photos, LeBron James noticed.

"Haha! Crazy bro!!! WOW!! (followed by praying hands, salute emoji, and king crown) James said in a quote tweet of Haliburton's posts with pictures of the Pacers' point guard wearing two James jerseys.

Although the MVP of the Olympics in Men's basketball, James is also the elder statesman on the roster. When James entered the league in 2003, Haliburton was a three-year-old toddler.

James is the alpha and omega, the chicken before the egg, and understandably, the greatest of all time for many young adults.

The fact that Haliburton and James became teammates with such an age gap is a testament to the Los Angeles Lakers superstar's legend. While previous generations tout Michael Jordan as the best, and perhaps such a stance isn't wrong, James is the one constant in sports and embodies longevity along with his NFL counterpart Tom Brady.

For Haliburton to make it to the league and play on the same team as his childhood idol alludes to why the Pacers point guard smiled throughout the lack of Olympic minutes.

Not deterred by outside noise, Haliburton portrayed the perfect teammate as a selfless player who cared about the bottom line and did not solely focus on egotistical goals.
