Jets Players Give Resounding Support to Robert Saleh in Do-or-Die Year

Why did the New York Jets keep Robert Saleh as their head coach despite the team not putting up a winning season in each of his first three years?

That's the question many Jets fans have asked over the last few months. New York's head coach has been at the front of controversy due to the team's poor in-game adjustments and poor ends to each of the last two years.

The product on the field may not be strong, but the culture that Saleh and his staff have built in New York, though is something that has cultivated into one of the most talented locker rooms in the NFL.

And it has players who even left the Jets at one point very pleased to be back.

"First of all, it starts with the head coach," Moses said about the team backing Saleh on Tuesday. "'Coach S,' guys will run through a wall for him. There are not many head coaches out here where guys can say like, 'Dude, I will die on the field for this dude.' You know what I'm saying?"

Moses was the team's right tackle during Saleh's first season in 2021 and has been traded back to New York to help better prepare the offensive line.

Part of the reason he was pleased to be back was because of Saleh - and it's a sign that the players have a different opinion of the coach compared to the entire fanbase.

And in this case, the fanbase might not be right on this one - so long as the Jets can turn their winning around.
