Charles Barkley Demands That Kendrick Perkins 'Shut The Hell Up'

Charles Barkley is not the type to be messed with. At the same time, however, Kendrick Perkins also does not have it in him to keep his opinions to himself.
So, what happens when an immovable object collides with an unstoppable force? Well, we're all about to find out.
During Team USA's gold medal run in the Paris Olympics, Barkley claimed that the national squad "shouldn’t be tested" and that they "should win" given that they have the best team out there.
This hot take did not sit well with Perkins at all, who responded by saying that "this was just an asinine way of talking about Team USA" in terms of the competition they're facing at the international level. Clearly, Big Perk does not agree with Barkley claiming that the rest of the world stands no match against the USA.
Will Kendrick Perkins respond to Charles Barkley’s recent tirade against him?
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports
In a recent interview on the "Dan LeBatard Show," Barkley was given the opportunity to respond to Perkins' savage dig. The Hall of Fame power forward did not hold back.
"First of all, listen, don't bring up a guy who averaged five points a game," Barkley said. "I'm not gonna stoop to his level. You average five points a game, shut the hell up."
Barkley chose violence here by opting to attack Perkins on a personal level. Then again, Big Perk must have known he was going to get this type of reaction from Barkley after he took a swing at the former NBA MVP.
It will now be very interesting to see if Perkins responds to this recent tirade from Barkley. This could very easily turn into a full-blown beef between two of the biggest on-air personalities in basketball right now.
