The Atlanta Braves have arguably been the most injury-plagued team in the MLB this season. They have a long list of injuries, including players such as Ozzie Albies, Ronald Acuna Jr., Spencer Strider, Huascar Ynoa, A.J. Minter and Reynaldo Lopez, among others. Yet, somehow, they are still in contention for a National League Wild Card spot.

On Wednesday, the Braves activated Michael Harris II from the injured list, and he followed it up with a grand slam in the 13-2 blowout win over the San Francisco Giants.

Unfortunately, the Braves' injury woes took another turn as Jorge Soler left the game early due to tightness in his left hamstring.

After the game, Soler opened up about his injury and gave a concerning answer , according to Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constituion.

“To be honest, I don’t know,” Soler said when asked about the injury.

Soler was traded from the Giants to the Braves right before the MLB trade deadline. He was batting leadoff for Atlanta in Wednesday's game and had played well since returning to the franchise.

Soler had a .279 average with four home runs and 11 RBI in just 12 games since being acquired, and he has 16 home runs and 51 RBI on the season.

For what it's worth, Braves manager Brian Snitker didn't seem overly concerned about Soler's injury: “No, it didn’t seem that bad,” Snitker said. “I think he said he felt like he could’ve kept going, but he felt something."

Soler was instrumental in 2021 as the Braves won the World Series. After being acquired during the season in a deal with the Kanas City Royals, Soler went on to win the World Series MVP.

However, the latest injury could be crushing for the Braves, especially with the way Soler has been playing.
