WNBA fans were treated to some major news on Wednesday after it was revealed that the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will be held in Indianapolis. Well, technically speaking, the league has not made an official announcement just yet. However, multiple outlets have already picked up the story which was initially reported by ESPN's WNBA insider Alexa Philippou.

At this point, it feels like it's only a matter of time before the league makes it official.

This major development only means that it's going to be the Indiana Fever who get to host next year's All-Star festivities. Barring any unforeseen setbacks, it also follows that Caitlin Clark will be playing in front of her home fans in what will be her second All-Star Game.

Despite the fact that the game won't take place for another 11 months, Clark supporters can't help but get hyped over this news. Can you really blame them?

"That Caitlin Clark effect is on full display! WNBA said let’s do this at Caitlin’s house! 🔥," said a fan.

    "I wonder whyyy👀👀👀🔥🔥🔥" a comment read.

"Motion lol Clark said “we gotta bring it to Indy” lmao so they did. Bahahaha," said another.

"Tickets will sell out instantly for a chance to see Caitlin play," surmised another fan.

Based on what we've seen from her thus far, it would require a massive letdown (or an injury) for Clark to miss out on the 2025 All-Star Game. At the moment, the rookie sensation is putting up some pretty stellar numbers: 17.1 points on 40.5 percent shooting, 5.8 rebounds, a league-high 8.2 assists, 1.5 steals, and 2.7 triples per game.

It also feels that the 22-year-old is just getting better every single game. Her current trajectory leads you to believe that Clark is going to be much better than she is a year from now.

The WNBA picked Indianapolis for the 2025 All-Star Game for a reason, and there's no denying that it's all about Caitlin Clark.
