Jets' Garrett Wilson to Take 'Stratosphere Level Leap' In 2024 With Aaron Rodgers?

New York Jets receiver Garrett Wilson has already established himself as one of the better receivers in football after just two seasons, but it feels like he's ready to go up a level.

With Wilson posting back-to-back 1,000+ yard seasons with what could be considered below-par quarterback play, Garrett now gets a future Hall of Famer in Aaron Rodgers throwing him the football (we hope).

Due to Rodgers' ability to zero in on a star receiver and feed him the football (hello, Davante Adams), could Wilson be set for a similar type of season in 2024?

CBS Sports thinks so and has loosely named Wilson as a "breakout" candidate.

"Wilson is already considered a star-level player, but we're talking stratosphere levels of leap here," CBS Sports wrote . "The No. 1 receiver in Aaron Rodgers offenses always puts up monster receiving lines, and Wilson is as talented as anyone Rodgers has ever played with. He could have a Davante Adams-type season."

In his best seasons with Rodgers, Adams would total 1,300+ yards and 11+ touchdowns while having over 100 receptions.

Could Wilson be in line for a stat line like that?

There's no reason to suggest he can't. Garrett will get the targets, and if his first two years in the NFL have shown us anything, he's super consistent.

If he can get a full 17-game season out of Rodgers, there is every chance an All-Pro season could be forthcoming, which is an enticing prospect for Jets fans.

Of course, having Rodgers healthy for a full year would be exactly what the doctor ordered, and if A-Rod is upright, Wilson will be feasting weekly en route to a Davante Adams-like season in 2024.
