Fans Roast LeBron James After His Olympic Photo Goes Viral

Everyone on social media is making jokes about LeBron James after his Olympic photo went viral on X Thursday morning.

James posted a new avatar, now with over 1.4 million views, showcasing him and his teammates—Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Anthony Edwards, and others—all proudly displaying their gold medals.

While fans have no issue with the gold medals—rightly earned after a 98-87 victory over France, with James contributing 14 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists—the roasting stems from the photo's blurriness.

The image quality makes it nearly impossible to see the details, leading to a wave of jokes and mocking online.

“This is the quality of a photo you decided to go with LMAO?,” said one fan.

“LeLowresolution,” said another.

Others don’t seem to mind the low quality. “Bro took his family picture down for this,” added another individual. “This must be really special.”

James was exceptional throughout the 2024 Paris Games. In six victories, he averaged 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game, earning him MVP of the men’s basketball tournament.

He also made the Olympic All-Star Five, joining his USA teammate Stephen Curry, Serbia's Nikola Jokić, Germany's Dennis Schröder, and France’s Victor Wembanyama.

Fans find it amusing that James, who excels in both the NBA and the Olympics, struggles with something as simple as uploading a clear photo, with his latest image looking like it was taken with a cell phone from 2007.
