Chiefs Can't Get On 'High Horse' This Season

The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off of two straight Super Bowl wins, and that means they are probably pretty confident heading into this season.

But on a recent episode of The Carton Show , former NFL wide receiver Greg Jennings warned the Chiefs not to get too confident, as that could very well be their downfall this season.

"The biggest challenge is going to be focusing on the task at hand every single week, not getting on their high horse if they have success early on," Jennings said. "Because if they start to look like that, I think that will harm them more than them having to struggle and fight through the regular season."

The Chiefs are looking for their third straight Super Bowl win, so they cannot afford to become complacent in the regular season.

That could have been what happened this past season, as the team went into their bye week with an impressive 7-2 record. But after that, they got careless and went 4-4 through the rest of the regular season, which is exactly what Jennings is scared they will do this season.

If the Chiefs can remain consistent and show the same work ethic every single week in the regular season, they could be in a great position to be the first team to ever win three straight Super Bowls.
