Video games will never be able to replicate real life perfectly, but over the years with the advancement of technology, they're getting pretty darn close.

With the improvement in graphics, gameplay, and overall experience, watching a simulated game on EA Sports Madden or NBA 2K doesn't look too different from watching a real game on TV.

However, when you see WNBA star Angel Reese stepping back and knocking down a jumper from deep, you might know that something is not from our reality.

That's a complaint that many fans have after the new looks at NBA 2K25 were recently released, showing the likes of Reese and fellow rookie star Caitlin Clark in the game. One video that was released shows Reese hitting a stepback jumper, which has many fans calling BS.

While the graphics look great, it's the jersey design and playmaking abilities of Reese that have many fans bashing 2K25 for the unrealistic portrayal of the Chicago Sky star.

Despite her real-life inability to knock down stepback jumpers in games on a consistent basis, Reese has been highly productive for the Chicago Sky this season. She's averaging 13.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game.

NBA 2K25 will be released on September 6, 2024.
