Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are in the hunt for the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat this coming NFL season.

Kelce is heading into his 12th season with the Chiefs. And while the 34-year-old tight end is getting up there in age, he's still bringing a ton of effort to the training camp practice field.

Mahomes is impressed by Kelce's consistent effort at practice, describing it as "remarkable."

“It’s remarkable, honestly. I mean, you see him out there every day at practice. He’s working. He’s in there getting the reps. He actually gets mad when they take him out,” the superstar quarterback said.

“He loves working. It makes my job easy as a leader to push other guys because I can just say, ‘Look at the Hall of Famer who’s out here practicing harder than anybody.’ That’s what makes him so special is that he enjoys the process of being great. Not just the top, not winning the Super Bowl," Mahomes continued. "... He enjoys the process of practicing. He enjoys the process on working on little details and that’s what the great ones do."

Kelce experienced a relative down year in terms of personal statistics last season. He reeled in 93 catches for 984 yards and five touchdowns in 2023 — marking his first sub-1,000 yard season since 2015.

That being said, it appears Kelce is dialed in and ready to take the field when the Chiefs face off against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.
