Ahead of the start of the college football season, ESPN published its annual rankings of the top 100 players in the country.

Unsurprisingly, Texas was well-represented on the list as one of the best rosters in the sport. Five Longhorns made the cut for ESPN, including the following players:

    #86: WR Isaiah Bond

A transfer from Alabama, Bond arrives in Austin on the heels of a solid sophomore season. He finished with 48 catches for 668 yards and four touchdowns last year for the Crimson Tide, and he was a huge performer in the SEC Championship game upset over Georgia when he finished with five catches for 79 yards. He'll be a top wideout for Texas this fall.

The top linebacker prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, Anthony Hill Jr. became an instant impact player for the Longhorns last season. He ranked second on the team with 66 tackles and five sacks and was named on most media outlets' Freshman All-American teams last fall.

    #49: ED Trey Moore

On the heels of a 14-sack season, which earned him the 2023 AAC Defensive Player of the Year award, Trey Moore transferred to Texas. On Thursday, ESPN's Matt Miller said the expectations in Austin are "double-digit sacks" for Moore and that he's a "potential first or second-round draft pick."

Ewers, one of the favorites to win the Heisman award this year, is back in Austin on the heels of a breakthrough season. He finished last year with just under 3,500 passing yards and 22 touchdowns to six interceptions last fall, and with another strong showing in his redshirt junior campaign, he'll be a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Banks is considered one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft. On Thursday, he said, "I take a lot of pride in making sure Quinn is not touched by my man." He did an excellent job of that last fall, allowing just one sack on 550 pass-blocking snaps, per PFF's tracking data.
