Brittney Griner’s Dominating Performance Against Angel Reese Goes Viral

Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner is going viral on social media Thursday night after a dominant performance against the Chicago Sky and rookie Angel Reese .

Griner is captivating the internet with posts from the WNBA , NBA , and many other social media platforms, headlining her epic performance after recording five blocks, three of which came against Reese. Over 7,000 views and counting in a 30-minute span after being posted by the WNBA.

The U.S. Olympian just finished up in Paris winning a gold medal with Team USA last Sunday, and now less than a week later, she's back on the court, dominating for the Mercury in the WNBA’s return after a month-long hiatus.

Reese struggled mightily to score on Griner Thursday night, shooting 4-14 from the field with just 11 points. However, she still had a staggering 15 rebounds. While Griner erupted for 23 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and five blocks.

Griner had her way with the Sky tonight, and it was not the ideal start to the second half of the season that Chicago was envisioning in the middle of a playoff push.
