Patriots WR Carted Off vs. Eagles: BREAKING

    By Wil Riggs,

The Philadelphia Eagles traveled to New England to take on the Patriots as they continued their preseason schedule. A packed house at Gillette Stadium was rocking right through kickoff.

With the Patriots up 10-6 in the fourth quarter, New England fourth-string receiver JaQuae Jackson ran a comeback route on the right sideline.

He planted to turn around and crumbled to the ground holding his knee. After an extended period of time, the cart came out onto the field and Jackson was carted off with a towel over his face.

Clearly dejected, Jackson has only had 1 catch for 38 yards this preseason but no catches in tonight’s game. The undrafted free agent out of Rutgers signed following this year’s NFL Draft and is trying to earn a roster spot as the Patriots continue through the preseason.
