Who will suit up for the Cincinnati Bengals in their second preseason game? Will any starters? In a presser leading up to the Saturday matchup with the Chicago Bears, head coach Zac Taylor said a starter will play. One.

As it turns out, there are two corners vying for the CB2 spot opposite Cam Taylor-Britt . So, Taylor affirmed that both Michigan Men DJ Turner and Dax Hill will suit up as their battle continues.

Hill was the Bengals' 2022 first-round pick out of Michigan and has been a safety to this point. He didn't see the field much as a rookie (131 defensive snaps) but was one of the starters last year. As the starting safety, Hill posted 110 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, two interceptions, 11 pass breakups, six tackles for loss, and five quarterback hits.

However, he has since moved to corner due to an up-and-down year plus the emergence of Jordan Battle . Not to mention the two free agent acquisitions.

Turner was a second-round pick in last year's draft and logged 829 defensive snaps. The uber-athletic corner amassed 50 total tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, seven pass breakups, a fumble recovery, and a quarterback hit.

Another thing to watch on defense is the defensive line. With the Bengals' defensive end depth being tested, will Myles Murphy and/or Joseph Ossai step up?

Will the legend of Maema Njongmeta continue? Cincinnati needs more depth at linebacker behind Logan Wilson and Germaine Pratt . Could the UDFA out of Wisconsin be this year's preseason hero?

After those two, it'll be a showcase to see what kind of depth the Bengals are expected to have.

On offense, the focus will be on what kind of offensive line will protect Jake Browning , Rocki Lombardi, and/or Logan Woodside . The Bengals have a sudden need for a right tackle with a slew of injuries over the last week. Who will step up?

Jackson Carman struggled mightily in the first preseason game. Will he take a step or will that selection continue to haunt the Bengals?

At running back, the top two backs are decided. Who steps up at RB3? Trayveon Williams has the most experience being in his sixth season with the team. However, with the injury to Chris Evans , Noah Cain and Elijah Collins will look to impress and lock in a spot on the 53-man roster.

Out wide, aside from Tee Higgins (and Ja'Marr Chase , obviously), does Jermaine Burton see a little action? He, Andrei Iosivas , and Charlie Jones (who hopes to suit up) are battling for that WR3 spot.
