Cincinnati Bengals Announce Date for All-Orange Uniform Combination

The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up for what looks to be another successful season after last year's disappointing result. Earlier this week, the team announced that it would be adding orange pants to the uniform rotation. In that announcement, it was revealed that the team would pair black jerseys with orange pants for the Week 16 Thursday Night matchup with the Cleveland Browns.

On Friday, the team made it official that the all-orange edition of the combination would be worn on September 8, Week 1 against the New England Patriots.

With the hashtag #OpenInOrange, the team made it clear that they want fans to essentially orange-out Paycor Stadium for the first game of the 2024 season.

The team has never worn orange pants in its 57-year history. It took them until 2004 to have an orange jersey added to the rotation.

Ever since the team unveiled the new uniforms before the 2021 season, the Bengals have worn the orange jerseys four times. They're 3-1 in such games with the lone loss coming last season to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12. The time before that was the Week 13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022.
