Time has flown for Brett Favre, the Hall of Fame quarterback who led the Green Bay Packers to a Super Bowl title and etched his name into NFL history.

Favre recently reacted to an ESPN post from 2014 that announced the Packers would retire his iconic No. 4 jersey.

“It used to seem like a year went by slowly. Now, ten years is a blur,” Favre said, reflecting on the passage of time since his legendary number was officially immortalized in Green Bay.

Favre, who spent 16 seasons with the Packers, was the heart and soul of the franchise for well over a decade.

During his time in Green Bay, Favre threw for 61,655 yards and 442 touchdowns while starting a remarkable 297 consecutive games—an NFL record for a quarterback that may never be replicated.

His backyard, funloving, gunslinger style of quarterbacking and unmatched durability earned him three MVP awards and led the Packers to a victory over the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI.

Since retiring, Favre has remained a fixture in football lore, but the passage of time seems to have caught him by surprise. Not only has 10 years gone by, but Aaron Rodgers has since moved on and followed in Favre's footsteps, becoming the QB for the Jets, and Jordan Love has become the face of the new franchise in Green Bay.

As the years blur together for Favre, Packers fans will never forget his impact on the franchise, the NFL, or the city of Green Bay.
