Could Bills Make Trade for Veteran Linebacker Help?

Dorian Williams, Terrel Bernard, Nicholas Morrow.

Following the injury to Matt Milano that could cost him the entire 2024 season, those are the projected starting linebackers for the Buffalo Bills.

Not the most dangerous group of all at this point.

Milano may not completely be lost for the year depending on how his recovery goes, but the fact that he is gone for an extended period of time may force the Bills to try and find an alternate solution to the position as a whole.

The issue, of course, is that there isn't much left over in the free agency pool of players.

Could a trade come forward though for any one player? In that regard, the Bills may be interested in making a deal.

Players like Zack Baun in Philadelphia, Isaiah Simmons with the New York Giants, or even the likes of Kamu Grugier-Hill in Minnesota could be available for the Bills at the right price.

It's important to remember that most situations like the one the Bills have usually means that they won't be able to trade for a top overall player, but instead look for quality depth to help along a particular position group.

At the linebacker position, it's important to note that while Milano could eventually come back from his biceps injury, it might be smart for Buffalo to look and make a move shortly at the position anyway.
