Following a disaster of a season last year, the New York Jets are primed and ready to take flight. With four-time MVP Quarterback Aaron Rodgers back and healthy, the excitement around this time is sky high.

Except over at Bleacher Report . They recently published a report picking the Jets to finish second in the AFC East. They did, however, pick them to make the playoffs.

"The Jets experienced offseason drama with Aaron Rodgers' trip to Egypt and are in a contract standoff with star edge-rusher Haason Reddick,” B/R writes. “They have plenty of time to resolve their situation with Reddick. Once they get past offseason distractions, their balanced roster can rack up 10 wins. Rodgers shows he can still play at a high level and leads Gang Green to the playoffs."

10-7 with this defense and the offensive weapons might be a little bit of a disappointment, however, the last time this team won 10 games in a season was back in 2015. It would also be only the sixth time the Jets have won double-digit games since the turn of the century.

Bleacher Report picked the Dolphins to win the division, but we know it’s a three-team race to the top. The Buffalo Bills still have Josh Allen, and he will keep them in games all season long.

The Jets defense is one of the best in the league, and we believe they will work out their differences with Reddick and get him on the field which could push this defense over the top.

The offense is set to go with Rodgers, running back Breece Hall and receiver Garrett Wilson as a three-headed monster. Throw in Mike Williams and Xavier Gipson and the Jets offense can be top 5 in the league.

While we agree the Jets will make the playoffs, we also believe they will win the division as the Dolphins take a step back this year and New York takes a huge step forward with Rodgers back in the saddle.
