Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton watched Friday's showdown between the Indiana Fever and Phoenix Mercury at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and it's safe to say he was impressed by Caitlin Clark.

Haliburton actually posted about Clark on X (formerly Twitter) during the game, highlighting how incredible she was after dropping 16 points and five assists in the first half.

However, there was one particular play that really stood out for Haliburton, so much so that he couldn't help but literally stand up from his seat.

Early in the second quarter of the game, Clark pulled off an incredible transition pass to Kelsey Mitchell from nearly three-fourths of the court. Despite the distance, the ball perfectly landed in Mitchell's hands as she made her way to the basket for the open lay-up.

A new camera angle of the pass showed Haliburton standing in disbelief as the Clark-Mitchell duo completed the play. The Pacers star even had both his hands on his head as he expressed his shock over how flawless the pass was executed.

For what it's worth, Tyrese Haliburton made sure to give Caitlin Clark her props after the game, with the two spotted sharing a hug before the Fever guard headed to the team's locker room.

Clark finished the contest with 29 points, five rebounds and 10 assists as the Fever took down the Mercury, 98-89. Kelsey Mitchell, for her part, added 28 points, five boards and three dimes in the win.

Making things even better for Clark, she made history as the first rookie ever to record at least 450 points and 200 assists in a season. She's also only the sixth player to achieve such numbers in a single campaign.

Indeed, it was quite the memorable WNBA return for Clark and the Fever following the Olympic break.
