The Chicago Cubs are looking to win their second game in a row on Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays and wasted no time getting a run on the scoreboard at Wrigley Field.

On Saturday, the Cubs took an early 1-0 lead as leadoff hitter Ian Happ recorded his 22nd home run of the season.

The home run went 413 feet and had an exit velocity of over 106 MPH off Blue Jays pitcher Chris Bassett. It now makes it six straight games that Bassett has allowed a home run in his starts.

This is the first time since the series opening game of the Crosstown Series against the Chicago White Sox on August 9th that the Cubs scored a run in the first inning of play.

Ian Happ has been on fire over the last stretch of games. In his last seven, he is hitting  .375/.483/.917 with four homers. Quite a nice reminder to fans who thought moving on from him the past couple of seasons was a good idea for the club. Instead, he has been a major piece in getting the Cubs back into playoff consideration.

The Cubs went with Justin Steele (3-5, 3.16 ERA) for the start on Saturday against Toronto. He is looking to continue where he left off in his last outing as he is coming off a six inning shutout performance in the team's win against the Chicago White Sox .

The game is available on Marquee Sports Network and Sportsnet. Cubs fans can listen to the game on 670 The Score and WRTO 1200.

The game is currently delayed by rain at the top of the second inning.
