Did Tom Brady Joke Predict Daniel Jones Throws 2 Interceptions?

Either Tom Brady was joking and got lucky ...

Or Tom Brady was serious and is already such a great analyst that he can predict interceptions days in advance of the game.

Brady this week took a poke at New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones by using the beleaguered QB as an example of how a player reacts to an interception.

He said he'd analyze himself harshly, but then said, "Let's say, Daniel Jones throws an interception ... I didn't mean to say it like that... I wasn't even being critical of Daniel Jones ...''

Of course, in at least a joking manner, he was sort of being critical, because of all the QBs he could have picked ... he picked the one who on Saturday in the opening moments of a preseason game against the Houston Texans ...

Threw two picks.

Jones returned to the field for the first time since tearing his ACL in November of 2023, and health-wise, the No. 6 pick from the 2019 Draft seemed fine.

But he tossed an ill-advised pick-6 interception early ... and then shortly thereafter threw another interception.

Jones, who is playing on a four-year, $160 million contract, isn't really known as a turnover machine. But Brady's joke ... and this joke of a performance?

The reputation might just stick.
