New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson sported a brand new look during his camp in South Carolina, so much so that fans would probably need a second look to recognize him.

The biggest change Williamson made in his overall look was growing his beard, which made him totally unrecognizable at first glance. He had a mustache and goatee before, but it seems the Pelicans forward hasn't shaved his facial hair and is still letting it grow based on its unkempt appearance.

Another thing that stood out to fans was Williamson's physique, as he appears to be slimmer and in better condition.

"Zion Williamson has lost about 25 lbs . Bro is about to be doing 360 windmills from the free throw line next year like he was doing back in high school," a fan noted.

Another commenter shared, "Zion Williamson looking slim ! The Pelicans Superstar was recently photographed looking a bit different. Is Zion gonna be All-NBA this year?"

" He looks super trim . This could be entertaining to see what he does at this weight," a social media user added.

It's unknown how much weight Zion Williamson has actually lost this offseason, though it's certainly great to see him work on his body. After all, it has been one of the biggest criticisms of him, with many blaming his poor conditioning for his injury woes.

Williamson was listed at 284 pounds during the 2023-24 season. He played in 70 games last campaign, his most ever since he made his NBA debut in 2019-20. With that in mind, hopes are high that Williamson will be able to stay healthy consistently.

Sure enough, it's clear Williamson is putting in the work.
