Angel Reese's Pregame Behavior Taking Heat After Brutal Shooting Performance

Angel Reese turned heads before Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Sparks as her pregame outfit captured viral attention.

But the Chicago Sky forward's struggles from the field in the 90-85 win brought a new round of scrutiny to her focus on fashion. Reese arrived at the August 17 game in an all-black outfit, posing for photographers as she made her way into Crpyto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Many shared the images on social media with some praise for Reese's look.

The rookie struggled during the game, going 4-for-13 from the field and scoring 14 points. Reese did contribute in other ways, adding 11 rebounds, one assist and one block.

Still, some fans questioned whether Reese was too focused on fashion and not enough on improving her shooting woes.

"Angel Reese did a whole photo shoot before the game just to come out and go 4/13," one fan wrote on X .

Though she set the WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles this season, Reese has often struggled from the floor and connected on just 39.7% of her shots from the field.

Reese may only be concerned with one stat from Saturday's game, however -- the win, which moved the Sky to 11-15 and still ahead of the Atlanta Dream for the eighth and final playoff spot.
