Robert Griffin III Reveals Surprising Truth About Patrick Mahomes

    By Cole Sullivan,

Former NFL quarterback and analyst Robert Griffin III made a bold admission in regards to Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes on Saturday after his unreal behind-the-back pass.

"Patrick Mahomes took that NFL players can’t play in the NBA debate seriously and brought the basketball court to the football field with this BEHIND THE BACK BEAUTY. Don’t compare any QBs to him, he is in A WORLD OF HIS OWN." Griffin said.

Mahomes has done a little bit of everything now. Behind-the-back passes, no-look passes, and even throwing the ball with his left hand. He finished Saturday's preseason game 8-14 for 93 yards in just a few series on the field for the Chiefs as they fell 24-23 to the Detroit Lions .

The Texas Tech product is now entering the 2024-25 season eyeing his third straight Super Bowl, fourth total, with one of the better surrounding casts he's had in recent years. With the new additions of Marquis Brown and Xavier Worthy at wide receiver.

Robert Griffin, on the other hand, was recently relieved of his duties at ESPN, where he spent the last few years covering the NFL and college football. Despite him not being around the network anymore for the upcoming season. He surely will still be heard across the NFL and college landscape.
