Daniel Jones Becomes NFL's Main Topic After Throwing Ugly Pick-Six

After he didn't play in their preseason opener against the Detroit Lions, Daniel Jones returned to action for the New York Giants on Saturday night against the Houston Texans.

Unfortunately, things didn't go all that well for Jones (11/18, 138 YDS, 2 INT, 1 CAR, 12 YDS). His two interceptions weren't great, one of which got returned for a pick-six by Jalen Pitre.

It wasn't a great play by Jones, as he tried to avoid getting sacked in his own end zone, only to throw the ball directly to Pitre for an easy Houston touchdown. Unsurprisingly, fans were flipping out when they saw this play, and it led to some hilarious reactions on social media.

Jones managed to rebound and lead a touchdown drive, but it's going to be awhile before fans forget this awful pick-six.

After he tore his ACL last season, Jones is hoping to bounce back and lead the Giants back to the postseason after their surprisingly successful 2022 campaign.

If he keeps making throws like this one, though, it could end up being another rough season for New York in 2024.
