Despite what media pundits may tell you, the New York Jets have been thrilled with the kind of leadership Aaron Rodgers has brought to the franchise over the last two seasons.

Probably the most valuable is the four-time NFL MVP's work on headsets during preseason games.

In 2024 alone, Rodgers has been helping the likes of Andrew Peasley and Adrian Martinez - two young quarterbacks at the NFL level - by doing whatever is necessary to get them ready for preseason action.

It's acts like these that have been greatly appreciated by Jets head coach Robert Saleh and his staff.

"He's fun on the headsets," Saleh explained. "Just like every single player, we ask anyone who's not dressing to be involved in the position group. Make sure they're helping those guys out on the sideline, give them some pointers, give them some tips. His role is no different than what Quinnen's (Williams) was, and that's being engaged in the game. Being involved in the game, and helping out your position room."

Rodgers' leadership has never been questioned...at least inside the locker room of the Jets and previously with the Packers.

As the Jets prepare for a make-or-break 2024 season, it's important that the group continues to trust Rodgers as a coach on the field more than anything else.
