Per a report by Greg Auman of Fox Sports , the reigning NFC South champions have made two roster moves. Defensive linemen Eric Banks has been waived with an injury designation, and the team has also activated tight end Tanner Taula after he passed his physical.

Banks was released by the Arizona Cardinals back in November of 2023, and then the Buccaneers signed him this February. He just never panned out with the Buccaneers, and the team announced they were releasing him with an undisclosed injury.

As for Taula, he was activated from the Buccaneers' active/non-football injury list today after passing his physical. He was out with an undisclosed injury, but now he will be back in practice looking to help the Bucs have some more depth at the tight end position.

The Buccaneers will be back in action and looking to bounce back from their last loss on Friday, August 23 for their last game of the preseason against the Miami Dolphins.
