    Robert Griffin III Sends Strong Message to Supporters After ESPN Firing, Promises Answers

    Robert Griffin III is showing love to fans and promising to provide answers after his abrupt firing by ESPN.

    The former NFL quarterback was fired this week along with "Sunday NFL Countdown” host Samantha Ponder in what was reported to be a cost-saving move. Griffin acknowledged the move in a post thanking those at ESPN who had helped him launch a career as an analyst.

    “Thankful for so many people in my time at ESPN that helped me grow because they are some of the best in the business. … THANK YOU to everyone who has supported my family through my playing days and broadcast career so far,” he wrote .

    Griffin did not share any more details about his firing, but in a post on August 18 promised to answer questions from fans. In the message posted on X, Griffin started by thanking fans for the support they had shown him.

    "As I sit here with my family on this beautiful day, we are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support from you guys over the last past 72+ hours," Griffin wrote on X . "YOU GUYS ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST."

    The former NFL NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year added that he would be taking time out to talk directly to fans and answer their questions.

    "Your support means everything to us, and I can’t wait to connect with you all directly about everything," he wrote. "I'll be sitting down soon to chat with YOU, so make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel, drop all your questions here and under my latest video and I’ll be answering them soon."
