The records just keep coming for Caitlin Clark. On Sunday, the Indiana Fever rookie sensation surpassed WNBA legend Ticha Penicheiro (224) for the most assists by a rookie in league history.

More importantly, though, Clark led the Fever to a 92-75 victory over the Seattle Storm after dropping 23 points, five rebounds, nine dimes, a steal, two blocks and three triples in their dominant victory.

Speaking to the press after the game, Clark was asked to share her thoughts on her latest milestone. This prompted an honest admission from the former Iowa superstar about never imagining she would be able to achieve such a feat as a rookie.

"It's definitely cool," she said. "I mean, if you would have told me I would like, lead the league in assists coming in here in my rookie season, I probably would have told you you were lying. But I take a lot of pride in that. I want to set my teammates up first and foremost because I think that's going to help you have the most successful team."

This has indeed been the case for Clark, who currently leads the WNBA with 8.3 assists per game. Be that as it may, the 6-foot guard has also acknowledged that there are still certain areas in her game that she intends to work on.

"I'm always looking for my teammates in transition," she continued. "That's kinda where I thrive the most. Sometimes I overpass it a little bit. There's always going to be the turnover side of it just with how fast I play the game and how much the ball is in my hands. But I will continue to learn, continue to get better at that. I still feel that there's a lot of room for me to grow. So that's what I'm most excited about."

The fans on YouTube certainly feel the same level of enthusiasm about what's ahead for both Clark and the Fever.

"Fever is looking good! Clark raises everyone's game!!!" commented a fan.

"Love this record for Caitlin. Completely obliterates the 'all she does is 3's' narrative," said another.

"Fever are shooting lights OUT!!! Lexie, CC, Katie Lou, Kelsy baby!!! GO FEVER!!! Play Grace Berger!!! GO FEVER!!! WIN WIN WIN!!!" reacted a supporter.

"Great job Fever! Keep playing hard team defense; there will be no stopping y'all from winning the championship!" surmised another.

"Great game to watch, glad it was nationally televised. Incredible offensive explosion against a top rated D. Keep improving Fever!!!" remarked a fan.

The best part of this all is that as Clark said, she's just getting started.
