The 2024 college football season has finally arrived and it is officially game week ahead of Week 0. So, that means ESPN has published its final preseason power rankings before the action gets started.

Below, you can see ESPN's full ranking of the top 25 teams in the country just prior to the 2024 kickoff:

    1. Georgia
    2. Ohio State
    3. Oregon
    4. Texas
    5. Alabama
    6. Notre Dame
    7. Ole Miss
    8. Penn State
    9. Michigan
    10. Florida State
    11. Missouri
    12. Utah
    13. LSU
    14. Tennessee
    15. Clemson
    16. Kansas State
    17. Oklahoma
    18. Oklahoma State
    19. Miami
    20. NC State
    21. Arizona
    22. Texas A&M
    23. USC
    24. Kansas
    25. Iowa

As has come to be the custom this summer, Georgia takes the top spot with Ohio State sliding in right behind at No. 2. Meanwhile, Oregon, Texas and Alabama round out the top five, exactly like the AP preseason poll.

Overall, to no surprise, it's a Big Ten and SEC-dominated field. Those leagues account for eight of the top nine, but it's the SEC who comes out on top, placing nine of their 16 total squads in ESPN's preseason top 25.

In actual Week 1, several of these ranked squads play each other as LSU and USC face off, as well as Clemson vs. Georgia and Texas A&M vs. Notre Dame.
