With the beginning of a new week, the Texas A&M Aggies are officially less than two weeks away from kicking off the 2024 season .

For all the time spent talking about the new staff , a re-tooled roster , the health of quarterback Conner Weigman , whether or not the secondary can improve , and so much more, we are so close to actually getting some real, live answers to all of our questions.

As much as fans and media are ready for things to finally get going, perhaps there is no one more anxious than the players themselves. Weigman was asked by media over the weekend to address the vibe in the locker room with the season rapidly approaching and told reporters of how much the team has gelled together already.

"It's been awesome, the brotherhood that we've built in a short period of time, just the guys that were able to come back and the transfers that came in just meshing together in a short period of time and building that bond together, I feel like we've done a really good job," Weigman said , earlier adding that he is fully healthy and ecstatic for the season. "I'm 100 percent ready to go. It's been a long time coming and I just can't wait to be out there August 31st."

Weigman was playing as good as any quarterback in the country before suffering a season-ending injury in week four of the 2023 season. If he can stay healthy in 2024 , he has a chance to go out and prove it on the field once again and should give the Aggies a great chance to have a huge season.
