Utah Football Officially Announces Team Captains & Leadership Council

Utah's 2024 football campaign is set to kick off in a little over a week against Southern Utah University, and the Utes have officially revealed this year's Team Captains and Leadership Council members.

To no one's surprise, QB Cam Rising and TE Brant Kuithe have been named the team's offensive captains while LB Karene Reid and DT Junior Tafuna were assigned as the defensive captains.

Joining the four veteran names on the overall leadership council are DE Connor O'Toole, LB Lander Barton, DT Keanu Tanuvasa, CB Zemaiah Vaughn, WR Money Parks, LB Levani Damuni, TE Miki Suguturaga, and HB Micah Bernard.

Having such a solidified group of beloved veterans mixed with the young, up-and-coming voices within the program is a recipe for the locker-room harmony and on-field accountability that will lead to a successful campaign.

Fans will be chomping at the bit to get their first glimpse of these long-tenured leaders as well as some new faces within the program in full-game action on August 29th and throughout the season.
