James Bradberry Continuing to Impress at Eagles Camp

The Philadelphia Eagles are trying new things to see if they can improve their league-worst secondary from last season.

That means some of the team's more well-known players in the back end will be playing new positions. The top player on that list is cornerback James Bradberry.

The former All-Pro cornerback had one of the worst seasons of his career last year and has made the transition to safety instead. While many analysts and former players were skeptical on Bradberry's attempt to move to safety, one man has been impressed with the change.

"Vic Fangio says James Bradberry is doing better at safety than he expected," WIP reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks said. "Says his football IQ is helping him make the transition from cornerback."

For Bradberry to earn the respect of Fangio at this point is a very welcome sign for the Eagles and the former cornerback. It shows he has taken well to his new position and could be a player they rely on at the new role going into 2024.

So long as the former Giant and Panther continues to look good at safety, it's another spot where the Eagles can rely on their development without having to worry about the overall cost of each position.
