Recruitment is heating up for one of the most-coveted wide receivers in the class of 2025, and the AP No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs are in the running among some of college football's best.

Five-star Jerome Myles has narrowed his list down to five programs, according to Blair Angulo of 247Sports . Georgia, Ohio State, Texas A&M, USC and Utah are at the top for the Draper, Utah, native ahead of his commitment decision on Oct. 30.

Myles was previously committed to Ole Miss on April 28 before backing off his pledge and re-opening his recruitment on June 24.

Myles (6-foot-2, 205 pounds) is rated as the No. 5 WR, the No. 1 player in the state and the No. 30 recruit overall in his class. The Corner Canyon High School product is an established wideout, but he also may be one of the fastest recruits in the 2025 cycle.

Myles, a track star, claimed both the 100-meter and 200-meter Utah 6A state championships as a junior. He also clocked a blistering 10.36 100-meter dash to break a 43-year old state record, per The Salt Lake Tribune .

Kirby Smart's Bulldogs have an elite track record on the recruiting trail, but there is a glaring need at wideout beyond 2024. UGA has relied on filling the position via the transfer portal over the last two years, but has taken a different approach in the 2025 cycle. After only signing two high school wideouts last cycle, the Dawgs have four commitments in 2025 behind first-year position coach James Coley.

A commitment from Myles would add an intriguing talent to Georgia's No. 4-ranked class (247Sports) and provide a potential answer to depth concerns next season. The challenge in this battle is the late start, as UGA is the last of Myles' final-five to offer (Aug. 1).
