Like many teams at this time of training camp, the New York Jets have a few starters that are hobbled going into the final week of training camp and the preseason.

On Monday, head coach Robert Saleh gave an update on all of the players recovering from their own nicks and bruises to this point.

The good news is that none are serious enough that they'll miss any regular season time...at least to this point.

Defensive tackle Leki Fotu, cornerback Jarrick Bernard-Converse, and safety Isaiah Oliver will be out for the remainder of camp with soft-tissue injuries.

Slot cornerback Michael Carter II, and wide receiver Irv Charles are considered day-to-day at this point with their own injuries as well but could be back at practice relatively soon.

In the case of Fotu, the Jets are expected to use him as a run-stuffing player who can also rush the passer formerly of the Arizona Cardinals. For Carter and Charles, they are both starters in their own rights (the wide receiver is considered New York's special teams ace in 2024), and should be back in practice soon.

Tight end Jeremy Ruckert is still also in concussion protocol according to Saleh and will be out until the middle of the week as well.

New York isn't too concerned with any of these injuries but it will force some of the Jets' players on the bubble to step up in a big way soon.
