Knicks Most Improved Team in NBA?

    By Jonah Morgan,

The New York Knicks have been one of, if not the most active team in the offseason, and it has led them to be one of the teams that most think will be one of the best in the NBA.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Dan Favale , he predicts the most improved NBA teams heading into this season. One of the teams he picks is the Knicks, as he thinks their new-look lineup will lead to great things.

"Perfection is not a line the Knicks are straddling," Favale writes. "But that's true of any team outside Boston, Oklahoma City and, possibly, Minnesota. What the Knicks are, though, is deeper and better at the top of their depth chart relative to last season, even if Brunson tumbles outside the top five of MVP consideration."

The team did lose Isaiah Hartenstein in free agency, which does hurt, as he was one of the team's most surprising bright spots last season. But now that they have Mitchell Robinson back from injury, they will be hoping he can get back to his old self.

The most notable addition is obviously Mikal Bridges, who slides right in to the Knicks' Villanova-heavy lineup. His versatility on both ends of the court is also a hand-in-glove fit for the defensive-minded Tom Thibodeau.

The Knicks will be looking to use their new additions, as well as their returning stars, to try and contend for their first championship since 1973.
