Footage Shows Caitlin Clark’s Intense Taunt Of Storm Player After Massive Block

The Seattle Storm proved no match to the Indiana Fever on Sunday at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse as Caitlin Clark and Co. took down their opponents in style. The Fever did not have any trouble against the Storm, which resulted in a 92-75 blowout win in favor of the home team.

Clark stuffed the stat sheet yet again with 23 points, five rebounds, nine assists, a steal, two block and three triples in 36 minutes of action. The 22-year-old played some great defense in this one, too, including a massive block on a Sami Whitcomb lay-up attempt.

Clark showcased her ability to stay in front of her defensive assignment in this play as she came up with a huge stop to force a turnover from the Storm.

The best part of this clip has to be Clark taunting Whitcomb after the clean block. You can see the Fever star standing over Whitcomb as the latter momentarily falls to the floor. It appears that Clark had something to say to the Storm veteran as well.

This just goes to show that Clark isn't only an offensive powerhouse, but she can also be a menace on the defensive end as well.

After notching back-to-back wins in their first two games after the Olympic break (a month-long season hiatus on account of the Paris Games), the Fever now have a record of 13-15. They remain in the seventh spot in the league, with only eight teams qualifying for the postseason.
