The Buffalo Bills have moved quickly to find an added quarterback behind Josh Allen with the new injury to Mitch Trubisky's knee.

Buffalo signed former Baltimore Ravens backup Anthony Brown Monday evening as first reported by Tom Pelissero. Brown was an undrafted free agent out of Oregon and has spent most of his first two years in the league on the Ravens practice squad.

With a playoff berth already secured in 2022, Brown received a Week 18 start while then-starting quarterback Tyler Huntley dealt with a shoulder injury. He went 19-of-44 passing for 286 yards and two interceptions in a loss to the Bengals.

Trubisky's recovery is still unclear at this time, but with only two other healthy quarterbacks on the roster - one of them being All-Pro Josh Allen - it's smart for the Bills to add another signal-caller to the room.

At least for their final preseason contest.

Buffalo takes on the Carolina Panthers Saturday and Brown will expect to get plenty of time on the field as he tries to beat out Ben DiNucci for the team's third quarterback spot.
