The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have one of the best wide receiver duos in the entire NFL in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, but they could use some depth behind them.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report , they go over each NFL team's biggest weaknesses, and they propose players that could help them. For the reigning NFC South champions, they think they could try and sign free agent wide receiver Richie James.

"The Bucs are looking to defend their NFC South crown and don't have a ton of depth at wide receiver if McMillan doesn't hit the ground running," Bleacher Report. "So, it could be worth it to kick the tires on James over the next few weeks. He has the speed to be a deep threat, and can operate out of the slot."

The Buccaneers drafted Washington wide receiver Jalen McMillan in the third round of this year's draft. While he has looked good in training camp, it is always good to have proven depth.

James did not play many games this past season, but had a solid year in 2022. He finished with 569 yards and four touchdowns while only starting four games. If the Bucs decide they need more depth at receiver, James could be a good option.
