As the warm days of summer begin to wind down throughout the nation, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is already gearing up for his team’s Dec. 1  matchup with the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.

Not only is the Niners star tight end embracing the challenge of playing through the cold temperatures of western New York, Kittle is also hoping to score a jersey swap with Bills quarterback Josh Allen, as he revealed to host Kay Adams during a recent appearance on the “Up and Adams Show.”

"Ooooo that’s gonna be cold,” Kittle quipped to Adams. “You can get ready for it, but just so it's like, that's gonna be cold, but hey, it's football. You just live with it. I can't wait. Also, I can't wait to play Josh Allen. I need a Josh Allen Jersey really bad. I wanna trade jerseys with them," he added.

Kittle is widely considered one of the best tight ends in the NFL. He was selected by the 49ers in the fifth-round (No. 146 overall) of the 2017 NFL draft. He is a five-time Pro Bowler and was a first-team All-Pro in 2019 and 2023. Accordingly, the Bills defense will face quite the challenge in attempting to contain him during their Week 13 contest.

Still, Kittle remains excited by his first visit to Orchard Park — even in spite of the potential of snowfall for which the region is well-known.

“Buffalo’s the only stadium I haven’t played in yet,” Kittle added. “So going to Buffalo early December … Can’t wait. It’s going to be a wonderful time.”
