American gymnast Jordan Chiles reportedly has "no plans" to return her bronze medal from the Paris Olympics as USA Gymnastics continues its appeal process.

Chiles was asked to return her Olympic bronze medal following rulings from both the Court of Arbitration for Sport and the International Olympic Committee.

"There are no plans for Chiles to give the bronze medal back as U.S. officials say they plan to appeal what the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee said were ‘significant procedural errors’ by CAS. That appeal would presumably go to the Swiss Federal Tribunal," Christine Brennan of USA Today reports.

Fans are showing full support of Chiles as she continues to hold on to her bronze medal.

"AS. SHE. SHOULDN’T. you earned that @ChilesJordan!" one fan wrote.

"Good for her!!!! Keep it!" another said.

"I mean we’ll go to war before they see that Medal!" another said.

"YESSSS Jordan!!! keep your medal," another wrote.

Chiles initially claimed third place in the floor exercise finals following a last-second score change. The 0.1 score bump was prompted by a score inquiry from the USA Gymnastics coaching staff.

CAS ruled that Team USA's inquiry took place four seconds outside of the allowed one-minute window. The IOC upheld the ruling, reallocating the medal to Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu.

Barbosu was awarded a bronze medal in a ceremony this past Friday.
