Tom Brady Didn't Hesitate When Naming the NFL's Best Quarterback

Tom Brady knows greatness, and that's exactly what he sees in Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

During a recent interview on The Stephen A. Smith Show , Brady was asked about Mahomes' elite talent.

The all-time great signal caller didn't hesitate when identifying Mahomes as the best quarterback in the NFL.

"In my opinion, he's the best quarterback in the NFL," Brady replied. "I could talk about his physical skills, but do you know why I look at him and I say he's great? I see the way that he's endeared himself to his teammates. I see the joy they have when they're out there playing together... I'm listening to the press conferences as much as I'm watching him throw a tight spiral. That's ultimately what [the quarterback] position is about."

Smith then asked Brady to identify the biggest threats for Mahomes and the Chiefs as they go after the first ever Super Bowl three-peat this coming NFL season.

"It's probably still the 49ers, and the Packers I think are going to be a great team. And you know what, I think the Rams are going to be a good team this year too," Brady answered.

Mahomes and the Chiefs will begin their 2024 regular season with a Week 1 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5.
