Chiefs GM Reveals Feelings on Travis Kelce’s Involvement With Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach recently opened up about Travis Kelce's life with world-renowned celebrity Taylor Swift and the attention that comes with dating someone of her status.

Speaking with Nate Taylor , who covers the Chiefs for The Athletic , Veach expressed that all of Kelce's off-field activities this offseason have been enjoyable to watch and he’s pleased to see his tight end thriving outside of football.

“He’s one of those guys where the more eyes he has on him, the more he lights up," Veach said. "It’s cool and fun to see. He’s just got that gift to relate to people and make people smile.”

Kelce captured headlines all summer with his involvement with Swift, including performing at her concerts.

One notable moment occurred on June 23, when Kelce joined Swift on stage at Wembley Stadium in London during her Eras Tour.

Dressed in a tuxedo and top hat, Kelce’s appearance during the song "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart" quickly went viral, stunning the 90,000 fans in attendance.

Veach isn’t surprised by Kelce’s ability to shine on such a massive stage.

With the Chiefs being one of the most recognized teams in the NFL, thanks to stars like Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Veach says, “He’s a showman. He has just a natural gift of being able to perform in front of people.”

While Veach appreciates Kelce’s off-field activities, he is eager for him to return to dominating on the field.

“Obviously, we get the most benefit when he’s doing it on Sundays,” Veach added.

As Kelce transitions from his action-packed summer to the football season, the focus now shifts to his pursuit of a third consecutive Super Bowl victory alongside Veach and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs.
